ANALISIS KEBAHASAAN PEMBERITAAN KASUS HAMBALANG DI HARIAN UMUM “PIKIRAN RAKYAT”: STRUKTUR MAKRO
Abstract
Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengungkap representasi dua tokoh penting dalam pemberitaan kasus korupsi Hambalang di Harian Umum Pikiran Rakyat, yakni Anas Urbaningrum dan Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. Studi ini dilakukan untuk menjawab dua pertanyaan penelitian, yakni bagaimana HU Pikiran Rakyat merepresentasikan Anas Urbaningrum dan Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, serta ideologi apa yang ada di balik pemberitaan Anas Urbaningrum dan Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono dalam kasus tersebut. Studi ini menggunakan analisis kualitatif karena datanya merupakan teks pemberitaan media. Hal yang dianalisis ialah makna yang tersaji dalam kalimat dan wacana secara keseluruhan, dengan struktur makro sebagai pisau analisis. Lebih dari itu, berdasarkan analisis itu pula diungkap ideologi apa yang terkandung dalam pemberitaan kasus korupsi Hambalang di HU Pikiran Rakyat. Sumber data untuk penelitian ini ialah teks berita utama (headline) halaman 1 terpilih pada HU Pikiran Rakyat yang berkaitan dengan wacana pemberitaan Anas Urbaningrum dan Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono dalam kasus korupsi Hambalang pada rentang terbitan November 2013 sampai dengan Januari 2014. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis struktur makro yang dikemukakan oleh Van Dijk sebagai salah satu kerangka AWK. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan bisa bermanfaat bagi media cetak, termasuk Pikiran Rakyat, agar lebih proporsional dalam menyajikan berita.

Abstrak: The research reveals a representation of two key figures in reporting corruption cases of Hambalang in the daily newspaper Pikiran Rakyat (PR), namely Anas Urbaningrum and Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. This study was conducted to answer two research questions, namely, how PR represents Anas Urbaningrum and Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, as well as the ideology of what is behind the news Anas Urbaningrum and Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in the case. The study used a qualitative analysis because the data is the text of the news media. It analyzed the meaning presented in the sentence and discourse as a whole, with the macro-structure as a knife analysis. Moreover, it was also revealed by the analysis of the ideology of what is contained in reporting corruption cases of Hambalang in PR. The data source for this study is the text of the main news (headline) elected on page 1 PR related to the news of Anas Urbaningrum and Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in a corruption case of Hambalang in the range of issue November 2013 to January 2014. Data were analyzed using structural analysis macro proposed by Van Dijk as one frame critical discourse analysis. Hopefully, the results of this research will be useful for the printed media, including PR, to be more proportionate in presenting the news.
